The Land and Facilities

Blooming Valley Retreat is located in western Michigan, half way between Muskegon and Ludington and 15 miles from the shores of Lake Michigan. The Retreat comprises 40 acres of wooded, hilly land located in a glacial moraine.

Two rustic cabins are located deep in the woods, out of sight of each other and the main house. As rustic cabins, there is no running water or electricity. Kerosene lights are provided. Each cabin is 14′ x 14′ and has a sleeping loft. Each cabin has a wood

stove for chilly nights. There is a lovely outhouse for each cabin (see photos!).

The third cabin is a modern guesthouse. This little house
sleeps three people and
has all the modern amenities.

Our home offers a large living room/dining area and an expansive screened-in porch where meals are served.
